I was invited by Pixartprinting to explore the city and shoot its amazing floors to create a funny and interesting project called “Venetian floors”.
It was my first time in Venice, so I didn’t really know what to expect. I stayed 4 days and I think I have seen nearly
every little street or corner of the city. I discovered that Venice has the most sumptuous floors in the world.
I visited many monuments and important buildings of the city. I found my favorite floors in Scuola Grande di San Rocco. They were very colorful with flowers details and graphic patterns. I was impressed by the luxury of The Gritti Palace and by the wood floors of La Fenice.
Some curious people from the city helped me to understand the history and some details about the floors. They told me funny curiosities like the Casanova days in Café Florian.
