Percy the cat has become internet-famous after being caught the exact moment he was trying to steal the cinnamon bun off the Christmas table. The kitty’s owner, 19-year-old Sophia Lindner from Ardmore, Philadelphia, says that as far as she can remember the feline, Percy has always been mischievious. “Even though he knows the rules, he will still try to sneak around them,” Lindner told Buzzfeed. “Chocolate cupcakes, PayDay bars, popcorn, ham, chicken, beef jerky, pasta, Cheez-Its…,” the cat’s owner said she could go on and on with the list of things Percy has stolen in the past. “He knows how to steal out of tupperware containers, cupboards, and backpacks.”
However, this Christmas Percy’s cheekiness was taken to another level. The Lindner family has a festive tradition of baking cinnamon rolls , so the cat’s owner was very clear Percy was to stay away from them. “He knows that the word ‘NO’ in a low tone means ‘don’t do whatever you’re about to do’,” Lindner said.
Two seconds later after she instructed the cat… Percy was caught trying to steal the cinnamon bun. The kitty realized he was busted, yet showed no sign of remorse whatsoever. That priceless face expression! No wonder Lindner’s tweet went viral…
